Journal Entry: Setting the Stage

Before I share the next few posts, I want to pause for a moment of honesty.

The stories I’ll be writing next come from a more personal place. They’re moments I’ve witnessed, and some I’ve experienced myself. These pieces won’t always be easy to tell, they won’t always be easy to read, but they are important. They reflect the many truths that shape who we are and how we learn to exist in spaces that don’t always feel made for us.

I share these not for sympathy, but for connection, to remind anyone reading that we are not alone in the quiet, complicated moments of our lives. Sometimes, the things we see or live through don’t make sense until much later. But naming them, even softly, can begin to make room for healing.

These next posts will be personal. They will be real. And my hope is that they invite you to reflect on your own truths, too — the ones that live quietly between silence and voice.
